This challenge will organize, manage, and execute trash cleanups in areas around campus. Our goal is to engage USC students in cleanup activities by organizing cleanup events, and tracking cleanup progress. By harnessing the power of crowd-sourced data and community participation, we can make a substantial impact on environmental conservation.
Our primary audience includes all USC students, but specifically those interested in environmental activism, local environmental organizations, and concerned students who are passionate about preserving our environment. We will also extend our reach to schools, businesses, and municipalities interested in promoting clean and sustainable communities.
This will mostly be a collection of user and location data in order to organize events. This data includes event names, descriptions, dates, times, and participants. It will also collect data from the users like event feedback, photos from the event, and any other content that could be used to promote future events.
